I love Kansas City. I was born here and spent the first ten years of life calling it home. Since returning to KC in 2010, I’ve been getting to know this city with fresh eyes. From the urban jazz scene out to the wide, rolling plains it’s a city of surprises. Writing for KC Parent Magazine has been a great way to connect to Kansas City and get acquainted with my KC Metro neighbors.
